INVITATION OF SUBMISSIONS FOR REVIEW OF IVT ACT, 1982

The Eswatini Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MoLSS), through the Directorate of Industrial and Vocational Training has a mandate for Vocational Training based on the Industrial and Vocational Training (IVT) Act of 1982. In 2019, the Ministry of Labour and Social Security developed a strategic plan with a focus on reviewing policies and legal frameworks to improve training outcomes. The Industrial and Vocational Training Act of 1982 is one of the legal documents which must be reviewed and the MoLSS has engaged the Eswatini Economic Policy Analysis and Research Centre (ESEPARC) to facilitate the consultative process for review and formulation of the refreshed IVT Act.
