The five-day Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) training programme has concluded, marking the successful completion of an intensive capacity-building initiative for ESEPARC researchers focused on results-based programming and research.
Throughout the training, researchers strengthened their understanding of core M&E concepts through practical exercises and real-world examples. Key areas covered included results and logical frameworks, theory of change development, indicator formulation and measurement, data quality assurance, as well as data analysis and reporting.
On the final day, emphasis was placed on using M&E evidence to support decision-making, accountability, and adaptive management across the full project cycle, highlighting the role of robust M&E systems in improving programme performance and policy outcomes.
This training forms part of ESEPARC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening research capacity and ensuring that credible, policy-relevant evidence continues to inform decision-making and national development.
