
Noussayma Njeim
Graduate Research Intern (2018)
Noussayma is a Masters in Rural Development student at the University of UGent in Belgium and Humboldt University in Berlin. She is concurrently studying for a Masters in Agricultural Economics at the University of Arkansas in the USA.
Noussayma completed a six-week internship (February to March 2018) at ESEPARC, where she worked on a study on ‘The Economic Impact of Infrastructure Investment in the Kingdom of Eswatini’. Her ultimate goal in life is to join the development sector – more specifically, working on development projects centred around rural regions and benefiting underprivileged citizens living in these areas, through initiatives that would ensure their daily access to basic urban services such as electricity, water, solid waste management, etc.
