Maqhawe Zwane

Graduate Research Intern (2018)

Maqhawe Zwane was a graduate research intern under the ESEPARC/UNDP Graduate Research Programme from November 2017 to November 2018. His research focused on financial inclusion and rural development. While at ESEPARC, he conducted a study on the impact of credit guarantee schemes in Eswatini.

Maqhawe graduated from the University of Eswatini with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Management. While studying, he served in numerous leadership positions in the student community. He also has a certificate in leadership from the Knowledge Institute (TKI). In 2016, he did his internship at the Swaziland Water and Agricultural Development Enterprise (SWADE) in the Lower Usuthu Smallholder Irrigation Project (LUSIP).
