
Maneliso Vilakati
Research Associate
Maneliso Feziwe Vilakati is an Associate Researcher at the Eswatini Economic Policy Analysis and Research Centre (ESEPARC). Her work focuses on public policy analysis, legislative reform, inclusive economic development, human capital development and research.
She joined ESEPARC as a graduate research intern and later transitioned into the role of Research Assistant. Her experience as a graduate research intern sparked her interest in public policy analysis and has also developed her passion for sustainable and equitable development. Beyond her research responsibilities, she is also interested in sustainable youth development and serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Eswatini National Youth Council, supporting youth development initiatives across the country.
Maneliso is currently pursuing a Master of Social Science in Economic History and Development Studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Her research focuses on the socioeconomic inclusion of people with disabilities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economic History and Development Studies, as well as a Bachelor of Social Science in Geography and Economic History, from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
