Gugulethu Florence Mgabhi

Associate Researcher

Gugulethu Florence Mgabhi is an Associate Researcher at the Eswatini Economic Policy Analysis and Research Centre (ESEPARC). She focuses on education policy research and analysis. Her passions lean towards education and youth development research, and politics. Gugulethu’s completed and ongoing studies focus on the technical and vocational education and training (TVET) system in Eswatini. Her passion for politics has seen Gugulethu participate in the national elections of 2008 and 2013, when she contested for a seat in Parliament under her constituency, Mhlambanyatsi.

She holds a Bachelor of Education in Rural Development from the University of Eswatini, where she was the best final year student in the department of Distance Education. She completed course work for a Master of Business Administration with the Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA) in 2013 and has a Post Graduate Certificate in Youth Development from the University of Minnesota, USA, through the Centre for Youth Development Studies in Zambia. She has aspirations to pursue a PhD in Education Policy and Management, as well as to be the best consultant in the education field of study internationally.
