Noussayma Njeim

Graduate Research Intern

Noussayma is currently pursuing a Masters in Rural Development at the University of UGent in Belgium and Humboldt University in Berlin. She is concurrently studying for a Masters in Agricultural Economics at the University of Arkansas in the USA.

Noussayma is on a six-week internship at SEPARC, where she is working on a study on ‘The Economic Impact of Infrastructure Investment in the Kingdom of Swaziland’. Her ultimate goal in life is to join the development sector – more specifically, working on development projects centred around rural regions and benefiting underprivileged citizens living in these areas, through initiatives that would ensure their daily access to basic urban services such as electricity, water, solid waste management, etc.
