Student Internships

SEPARC is devoted to building future leaders in economic policy research and analysis. Our internship programme offers a wide range of opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students to gain insight in the research and administrative programmes of the Centre. Every attempt is made to match the interests of the intern with the needs of the Centre. The duration of the student internships is typically 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the academic requirements of the intern. Applications for internships may be delivered physically or forwarded to SEPARC by email.

The Centre also has Memoranda of Agreement with the University of Swaziland (UNISWA) and the University of Arkansas, USA to facilitate internships for their students with SEPARC.

SEPARC / UNDP Graduate Internship Programme

SEPARC, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), offers a 12-month graduate research programme that gives graduates intensive on-the-job training to build their capacities in research skills, personal development, and leadership. The programme is designed for motivated, driven, and dedicated individuals with leadership potential for policy research. SEPARC hopes that this training programme will provide interns with a solid foundation to pursue research careers and generate the necessary data and information for innovative policy solutions geared towards achieving national sustainable development.
